The Grand Princes
Return of Innocence
July 2009.

This picture started from an idea I saw on a picture I found on a book, about life and dead and those things. So I created something like: A dead Bambi saying goodbye a Bambi alive; happy dead, sad life, darkness, light, whatever.

From this idea born a character I upgraded with the past of the time: Phobus, a deer cursed for a disease making an appareance of undead.

Hmm.

Somehow this reminds me of a certain principle of quantum mechanics: whenever more than one thing can be chosen, whenever there are multiple paths to be taken, both paths will be taken, but you will only remember taking one.

So here we see the moment when Bambi decided to run from the meadow as his mom instructed, and when he froze in fear and could not run.

Nice and very interesting interpretation. :O

Yeah you are right, something like decide... or when the instinct say you something is coming or something is wrong. Will be cool do something like you said about his mother on the meadow. However, I am in an ironic situation, since the humans hunted his mother "in feral"... now in anthro I think will looks mad and stupid in the same time, I had this conflict since I did a picture about the fears. I was thinking in invert the scripts: animals = anthro, humans = centaurs, but I am not sure about it.
