This month's challenge was our Characters in the Nega-verse. Since nothing involving Gos had been done, I drew Gos and Weasel this month. Was gonna include shading, but ran out of time.
I kinda enjoyed creating their backstory for the Negaverse. After all, the Negaverse is supposed to be the more 'Adult' and 'Dark' version of Darkwing Duck. Here's their tale...
When Gosalyn was taken from the Orphanage by Drake Mallard, young John feared for her safety, having taken it personally to defend her from the harms of the Negaverse. He knew right away that Drake was simply Negaduck in disguise, and when he came of age, He saw to it that Gosalyn would be safe.
Sadly, Negaduck's influence had corrupted Gosalyn for too long. The sweet innocent girl of youth had become a seductress of the night, capturing Weasel the first night he had attempted to take her. She tortured him. For information, for pleasure, for various reasons, all to make him see the ways of Negaduck. In time, Weasel came to lose his mind entirely, working off base instinct. John was gone, and Weasel was there.
Today, rumors of the pair known as "Weasel & Quiver" are abound. Some say they are lovers, while others see Weasel's Sociopathic lifestyle as the eventual downfall of the duo. Others think that some part of Good Weasel is still there, but is blocked out by some controlling device Quiver holds. All anyone knows, is that when a crack of lightning is heard, or an arrow shot, someone is about to die.
