I think he definitely is, but that doesn't mean he's a monster, or that he doesn't care. People are more complicated than "I do bad things" and "I do good things", and I like seeing comics from GrimArts specifically because he shows that very well.

One thing about this story that you'll find is that it's very real. I'm glad that the world is seeing more stories like this, where the black and white of life is highlighted. Another great example of this is the storytelling of Bojack Horseman, in the Episode titled Happy Ending.... yes, someone gets their happy ending, but not everybody gets a happy ending. It's a life lesson that was veiled behind a talking cartoon horse show. This comic is more direct than that, I think, and the fact that you're sympathising with him REGARDLESS of whether or not he's big story plot villain or not.

I guess they have nanotech that is advance enough to manipulate and replicate brain tissue along with other organic tissues maybe. though there have been head injuries like that in the past and people survive with minimum brain damage. though in this case so will prolly have fake memories implanted in her to get out of this.
