Had a discussion a few years back, on a drawing of someone that looked to me to be a dark shade of yellow, and made me think the drawing was of someone else cast in a dark room.
Much later, skipping a long story, I found my display was showing me colors that was off, than what it was meant to show. Even in full gray scale, some portions that was meant to be gray, was showing up as a light brown.
Later I found it had to do with Windows own built in color correction option. Finding it, and turning it off helped to fix it.
All of my grays looked gray, and what I thought was a dark yellow, now looked like the orange it was meant to look.
On a side note: As for the eyes here I see them as blue. But indeed a rather grayish blue. So, yeah, to me, I think it could be hard to tell if it was gray or blue.
