After everything that happened with Nagus, Geoffrey was put up for trail once again, and this time with Elias as king once more no one really stood up for him even after finding out and helping him gain back his body from the mad wizard. Only a year went by Geoffery was free from jail but many didn't see him the same, he was stripped of his position, titles, and an good he had done was over shadowed by his betrayl of the crown and the many people who trusted him. Until one day he got a message calling him to castle Acorn, he arraivied the next day, with only Elias and the queen and now a young Alexis barly walking and talking being held in her mother's arms. Geoffery questions why he was summoned to the caastle even though he felt he shouldn't even be here. Elias tells him that with some persuasian from the queen and him talking it over with the council, that maybe Geoffery would like to be a personal gaurd not to the king but to the queen and the young princess.
Geofery rightfully shocked that he was getting bit of trust not from Elias but Queen Meghan he asked why, she explained that even though the young pprincess isn't in line for the throne, she is still in danger of being kidnapped and used either for ransom or to bring Elias and the kingdom down, even though there alot of cable fighter and soldiers, most of them are already out in the field or not as capable to watch her. But she thought of someone who was, and practically trained half their soldiers to begin with, and would probably want to do anything to try and regain faith among not just his king but the people that he believed he was helping. It wasn't easy to convince Elias or the council so she hopes he will take this position.
Geoffrey was stunned but it didn't stop him from saying yes happily, he knew Elias would be watching him carfully and he wouldn't have his full trust but if he could prove his worth once again, regain what he had worked so hard for, and gain the trust of the people back he would be happy to do so.
So Geoffrey in my heasdcanon is the nanny to Alexis, he doesn't have alot of say in the kingdom only what he can do to protect the young princess and keep her safe. He still has a bit of his powers that he gained from his old master, and uses them when need be.
