Welcome everyone and all of watchers who'll check out the another simple pic.
Do you have sometimes the feeling any music you're listening, especially the energetic, uplifting or joyful one, gets your soul to the dance and body can only follow that passion? And you don't notice and care about the bystanders and what they're talking or thinking about? Of course 'till the moment you realize they have seen you in action...
'Cause Sir Pent fells this way right now, in this picture I recently drew. He doesn't even care about the fact he's got also unfastened shirt and his somehow alive hat falling off of his head, 'cause the music he's listening to controls his mood, his thinking, his emotions. That's why I titled it "Self Enchanted".
This time, I decided to test out making lineart with Inking Pen tool in Autodesk Sketchbook in order to geth the consistent, sharp and elegant lineart, 'cause I noticed the usual pen tool gives the result of blurry and grayish one, and I want my pictures to look at least fine, if not great.
And also I drew three Egg Bois and their various reactions to their boss's spontaneous dance. One of them simply enjoys what their scaly demon leader does with his hands and the rest of his snake - like body.
Well, this comes with my headcanon that whenever Pent uses his power to hypnotize others targets or he's being mesmerized by music, he dances in the fashion of mixed Tai Chi and Bollywood dances. It's kinda similar to the deadly dance done by Kaa from the Russian version of Jungle Book animation (I recently watched it out of curiosity - much better than Disney version, although I love both of those cartoons): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2gn2OV0Lv4I . But he simply doesn't want to do it often and in front of other viewers, cause he's afraid of being seen and rated as the vulgar, obscene and not elegant - just like his hated spider lustful enemy, Angel Dust. And having Egg Bois as spectators, his reaction can be predictable and intense... ^^;
This picture was also inspired by Michael Hedges's two songs: "Ignition" and "Oracle".
And yeah, I drew him also anime - styled eyelashes and nostrils ^^;
