Heyhey peeps!

Sorry on posting this as a submission instead of journal but i wanted to reach as many of you as possible!

I'm planning on making a new comic with the twins! Hooray!

But i was wondering if you guys would be okay with it being only lined, not fully colored. (Think BlackKitten's "Morning" series)

It would allow me to draw more pages, as coloring takes a big chunk of time!

If you could vote on this strawpoll page i'd really appreciate it!

Thank you everyone!

If you do lines and it doesn't work out, the remedy is... go back and color the pages.

There's not really a downside.

the downside is that i will take years to do it, the tradeoff for black and white is the number of pages i will draw.

I would not mind that but a little bit of color can work,
you know, just maybe fill in the lines witn one
basic no shaded color?. only on the characters.
just an idea.

can't do, but i'll probably just color the eyes and add the blush

I've always found a certain charm and beauty in line art or sketches.  Sometimes I prefer that to color art, even.  So I voted yes. :)

Quality's still great, so go ahead ^^

Lines only can be just as amazing as color! Do what makes you happy bunny!

Well the question is more "do i provide a satisfying work if i post it in B&W?"

I'm not choosing B&W because i like, but because i feel like i can draw a longer comic for the same amount of time i'd spend on a shorter colored comic...

Well yes, I was more meaning if it would make you feel better to get more pages out I support it, I think that B&W art can be just as magical as colored art so it's not necessary to have all the time. ^^

Does it satisfy us? yes. Most of us will be perfectly fine with it, and enjoy the work the same as usual.

But that's not as important as whether or not YOU want it that way. Your preference is important, too, you know.

It's good for me, one of my favorite comic on ib is a lined one ^^

Totally fine by me, B&W leaves more room for story and character development and like @Chrisfallenmoon said someone may do a fan colouring down the road. Whatever works best for you ^.^

Dont think you need to color comics, they are a pretty high volume work platform so do what you think is best for you.

Could consider having someone else color for you, thats how its usually done in the industry lol

thanks for understanding

and yeah i might color it later but i don't want the comic to take a whole year to be drawn. So once it's posted i will slowly update the pages with colors

I think your coloring is great, but I wouldn't complain.

As I read that I was going to suggest Black Kitten’s twincest comic. Great minds think alike I suppose. And yeah, flat colored comics are usually my favorite, but lined comics are good too. Plus they save time, and after it’s finished you could fully render it in flat color or shaded in the future.

Take your time with it regardless, you got some real talent and incest comics and artwork tend to be my favorite as they’re my guilty fetish for NSFW artwork of all pop-culture and fictional things alike. 😅

Using Blackkitten as an example is a surefire way to get a "yes" lol, I appreciate that

But yeah, your art is more than just your color; your lines are great, so a comic with only lines would be too!

it was one of the best examples i could think of when i imagine a black and white comic

Nothing wrong with sticking to black and white, though a little shading rather than purely line work only is good.
But whatever works for you is gonna be best~

I'll keep that in mind, we'll see

Is this pic a mod, a recolor or a 3d model? Looks cute.

As for your question, your coloring is a big part of why I like your art style, but I won't run away because it's black and white. I'm ok with it.

Can always find a friend to color it. Even something basic, doesn't have to be fancy.

Im thinking of making the colored version for when i'll print the comic... Like a special colored edition!

Honestly I would love to see your style in black and white. I am so curious what it would look like. Do it!
