Change is upon us, a new age; a dawn is awakening with each breath of the arising new year.

When the winds of war call, whose side will you choose? The hands of man who have destroyed Gaia's warm embrace? Or to the Kin who return to reclaim their rightful throne of the world?

When you feel the winds bellow past your form, shifting you from within and out; whose side shall you choose?

Theirs? Or Ours?

I felt this piece is appropriate for the new year seeing how so many believe something will happen this 2012; even if no one has a real clue.

So thus, be it death, destruction, famine, zombies, kin taking on their true forms, the war of heaven and hell...

This was an idea I have been working on for a while that originated as a dream about a year ago. When Gaia releases her power and thus allows her children so long in the hidden darkness to become what they once were ages ago. A war is to come; humans versus kin to see who will rule over Earth for the next hundred thousand years.

This is of Safyras coming forth into those winds and facing her foe. I being one tired and sickened of how most of the human race simply do not seem to care about the world we live upon; I would choose the kin side.
