The sun looms over Angel Island as Sonic and the gang are enjoying a picnic with Jade and HIS crew at the foot of the Master Emerald's altar. It and the Chaos Emeralds glisten as the festivities get underway. As Amy and Rio are arguing about who between Jade and Sonic is the better catch, the two are sitting at the Master Emerald.
"Man, oh man!" Jade exclaimed with satisfaction as he just finished off the food on his plate, "This is the life, eh, Sonic?"
Sonic nodded in agreement. "Yeah" He replied, "It's kinda cool how we haven't heard from either Eggman or Yaku"
"That's what worries me!" Tails said flying down to the pair, "What if they're planning something big? This downtime seems like a warning sign to me!"
"Whatever it is, I'D welcome it" Jade said stretching, "Hi'm bored as Hell!"
As Jade lied there starting a nap, Sonic chuckled. "You worry too much, Tails" Sonic said in a reassuring tone, "If they're planning some big attack right now, we'd be ready for it!"
Meanwhile, viewing the party from a monitor, Yaku and Eggman are on an arircraft nearby.
"It's time" Eggman said with sinister glee.
"I believe you're right, Ivo" Yaku said grabbing the intercom microphone as Eggman presses a button on the dash, "Initiate, Operation: Unite!"
Suddenly, a rainbow-colored light covers the ground under Jade who instantly sinks into it, and just as quickly as it appeared, disappears. Just then, six extreamly powerful-looking figures arrive to the surface of the island with Yaku.
"Greetings, everyone" Yaku said walking down the way. As he approaches the altar with everybody ready to fight, he lightly caresses Blaze's ponytail. "I see that you've all rested well these past couple of months. This is good, since you'll need every ounce of energy for the insuing journey you're all about to take" He raises his hand manipulating the Emeralds to gravitate to his associates. He claims the Green Emerald.
"We are the Seven Overlords of the Brotherhood Of Conquest!" Announced the green, insect-like man who's eyebrows resembled Eggman's Moustache as the Red Emerald lands in his hand.
"Our goal is gain control of every world in the Omniverse!" Added the lone female of the group claiming the Cyan Emerald.
"The organization we formed together spans to many a dimension" said a long-earlobed man as the White Emerald's tip lands on his index finger.
"And the only one who would HOPE to have a CHANCE of defeating us has just been imprisoned in your own multiverse!" claimed a blue-skinned, effeminate man in a black cape, thigh-high boots, sholder-high gloves and what appears to be a...Golden bikini? He cackles as he grabs the Purple Emerald...Good God...
"Don't be discouraged" Yaku says turning to the rest of our heroes, "This doesn't mean there won't be something for the REST of you to do!"
"BIG MISTAKE PASSING OUT THOSE EMERALDS!" Knuckles shouted having made his way to the Master Emerald during the shared monologue, holding his hands aloft. "THE SERVERS ARE THE-"
"MERASMUS THINKS NOT!" claimed a man in a black cloak wearing a broken ram's skull for a hat, "SEISMELA TREMORO!"
A meteor strikes the Master Emerald smashing it into what appears to be 22 shards. A portal forms behind each one as they float into the air A hand pops out of each portal grabbing the shards and taking them away from the world.
"We would love to stay and elaborate on our goals" Yaku claimed as Eggman's craft lowers a lift for each Overlord, "But you all have portals to catch!" The Overloards enter the craft. Save for Yaku, they all start laughing.
Suddenly, Angel Island starts plummeting near the coast of Soleanna. There, a giant portal opens"
"...Not a word, Tails!" Sonic sighed facepalming himself, "Not...A...Word!"
