I finally finished this. It took forever D: This is probably the last Piece I'll do for "Not all Angels Fly on Feathered Wings" until I post the story. There might be more artwork along the way, and a character sheet for Dayna (Maybe even a sequel ^^)
A lot of people couldn't decipher the narrative at the top of the piece. If you can't, I'll just tell you to look closer at it. If I still need to tell u what's going on at the top, then I failed part of my job as an illustrator :/ but it's still a pretty piece :D.
Characteristics of Dayna were inspired by a drawing of
's character, Lucille the vampire bat. But I really feel obligated to mention that there is a huge difference between her and Dayna when it comes to behavior and sexual activity. Dayna is more like a character inspired by how I interpreted Lucille because of some specific features. And I'm pointing this out because I do not want Dayna associated with sexuality or deviousness or anything explicit, (not to mention that I'm planning on using a non "fantastic" version of her in a story about middle school insecurities). And I'm just being an open book, but some of the things I learned and saw about Lucille bothered me a lot.
,if you see this, I'll talk to you over PM but I really don't want to credit Lucille anymore. It's not to make a scene, and it's nothing personal between us, and if you don't like my decision cut and dry as it is, we will work something out.
