Actually I never expected to enjoy playing the dark souls games, yes they are hard but they are also rewarding, also they are really fun to play with others online specially in co op. Another thing that inspired me do this is that there are a few things that made me think in a small crossover between sonic and dark souls, there was that game called sonic and the black knight and in both games rings are special, not to mention the places like the checkpoints and the bonfires, you respawn in these after you fail
