I recall a joke by Tommy Tiernan, a comedian with basically this joke. It's two AM, you're asleep, and all of a sudden you hear your parents come in from date night, go to their room, and a minute later it starts: the Spring Symphony. After about an hour, dad's still going, too drunk to finish, and you yell out 'For fuck's sake! I have soccer trainin' in th' mornin'!'
