Isabella Sutter ('Izzy' to her friends) is one of many young, restless residents of the rather sleepy little town of Cavalry--a blue-collar berg that once upon a time was booming, but now sat 'neath the looming shadows of several factories and plants since closed. Hung with an overcast forecast and what pretty much feels like perpetual autumn, Cavalry's just about the last place that Izzy wants to be anymore--struggling to find some means of achieving escape velocity when life just doesn't seem to want to cooperate. When she's not kicking around town with her fellow misfits or dodging a rainy day in lieu of dungeons and dragons, Izzy's either trying to court capers or succumbing to another shift at the Cavalry Cineplex 66. A dork with grand aspirations and a desperate hope for finding love, happiness and cold hard cash.
Holy moly, it's new Magpie art! New character, too! I have at last defeated this last stretch of art block and without going into TMI territory suffice to say, it has been a really rough five months (and really, year.) I am aiming to be back into the swing of things (seriously) so I'm kicking things off with a fun new fox and a chipper attitude.
