Cyfnos is Kira's long lost older twin brother, who was born in the Magic Crafters World in the Dragon Kingdom, while still an egg, his village was raided by the Ape army of Malefor, where his parents got killed, while they lost one of the twin eggs, one of the Apes however found the egg, they decided to give the egg to one of the allies of Malefor, an evil sorceress named Adfail, the leader of the Dark Order, who raised him as a hatchling alongside her only daughter Myfyrio, while their childhood friend is a dragonfly named Shade.
While Cyfnos, Shade, and Myfyrio *Who is the successor to her mother* up together in one of the forbidden realms called the Akaiyoru Kingdom *Meaning Red Night in Japanese*, while they have no interest in world domination, Adfail plotted to take over the entire world, but when five young dragon protectors Darren, Brick, Kira, Marsh, and Meki alongside their dragonfly companions Zippy, Rush, Glitter, Swampy, and Pastel were sent to stop her nefarious plans and reclaim the orbs from Avalar that her wizard henchmen stole for grewt power, the three were sent to stop her, where they encountered them several times on their journey, while Myfyrio could see what Kira and Cyfnos have in common, when they encountered them again, Myfyrio, being psychic sensed Kira and Cyfnos are actually siblings, much to their shock and surprised, they were then convinced to leave Adfail's side to help them save the world.
There, they traveled to Adfail's lair and confronted her, and while the help from Myfyrio, the dragons defeat her while she used her power to send her to suspended animation wh err re she was encased in crystal, ultimately saving the worlds and even brought back the orbs, the dragons want Cyfnos to join in protecting the Dragon Realms, but he decided to stay in Akaiyoru as their protector while Myfyrio plans to rule the kingdom so everyone will be at peace, there they promised to see each other again someday.
