The tall elegant figure before you is Charles, perhaps the most classy and polite slaver you'll ever see.
Although looking a little... weird for a cat, Charles does not make the worst impression when you meet him in person. He's fun to talk to, usually is able to keep up with most of the conversation topic, incredibly erudite and well-mannered. However, the moment the conversation turns to figuring out each other's occupation, you're in for a surprise. Charles is a slaver. He absolutely cherishes the feeling of total control and enjoys seeing obedience in his slaves or even "pets". The unnaturally tall cat doesn't keep his occupation a secret, though. It's a major part of his life and, well, it has been that way for quite some time now.
But there-there, slow your imagination down. Despite what you may be thinking, there are no dark dungeon cells involved and there's certainly little to no whips used. Charles' manners apply to the way he treats his slaves and pets as well. They live in great conditions, they're well fed and all their Master asks in return is obedience. He doesn't push his slaves through any harsh training or something similar to break them down into submission. Charles takes the comforting approach, slowly easing his captives into their new way of life, making sure they have enough to stay positive and even thankful for the way he treats them. His pets might be a little more resistant, however, since their job is to crawl around Charles' place, wearing basically nothing but a collar, locked mittens and a gag, purring from time to time, entertaining their owner. With enough time, though, everyone succumbs to their new lifestyle, unable to resist enjoying serving Charles and feeling his care. The "pet" part in particular is what gets Charles' gears turning. Tying someone up, gagging them so they would only moan, attaching a leash to them and walking them down a park or, maybe, just sitting on a couch with a captive on his lap, wearing a proper muzzle gag... that's what injects excitement into his life. Charles is a Pet Play guy. He keeps normal slaves, sure, but that's mostly for convenience and feeling of control, but what entertains and pleases him to the highest degree (even if it's not all that easy to tell due to him keeping his composure) is seeing his captives crawl around the kitchen floor with cat ears attached as they point to their bowls, asking for some more food. Charles knows it might seem weird to people, but he doesn't really care. It's his life and he's a very responsible owner.
It might be fairly obvious from the looks alone, but Charles really doesn't like getting his own hands dirty. Usually, if he wants to have a specific someone grabbed and taken to his place, he uses some hired help. Then he only has to wait, sitting in warm comfort of his place in a soft chair, listening to the soothing crackling of the fireplace and, perhaps, reading an interesting book. This doesn't mean he outsources all the work, though. Charles regularly attends some... fairly specific auctions where he places bids and wins slaves he finds cute or interesting enough. And, let it be said, there are instances where the elegant slaver might be more than interested to expand his servant collection with his own hands.
And if you happen to be Charles' target for any reason... there's probably nothing you can do yourself to avoid being turned into a helpless pet. Charles will try to persuade you, and, oh, believe me, he's very persuasive, but if you're still not willing, then the cat's elongated tail will be pointed towards you and the fancy gem on its end will light up with the luscious green light, almost blinding you. You can say 'goodbye' to your days of roaming free. But how exactly does he do that? Well, my darlings, you see, Charles is the Keeper of the Pet Play Desire, one of the seven known Desire gems. Perhaps the one that is a less popular than the others. He possesses the power to affect one's mind in ways which simply make them... less intelligent? To put it simply, if you're under the effect of Charles' power, you'll loose any will to resist the guy and your world perception will become far more simpler than it is right now.
Charles' powers allow him to find new worlds and look for new guys or girls that he would be happy to own. However, unlike some of the other Keepers, Charles does not give in to the gem's power entirely. As the matter of a fact, he still hasn't suffered any horrible corruptions or changes in his body. Yes, he might have stretched out "a little" and his nose and feet might not quite look like they used to, but he manages to retain his mind perfectly clean. The name "Charles" is the name his mother gave him at his birth and during the following 487 years he never forgot it. Charles perfectly remembers his life before he bonded with the Desire gem. He used to teach at a famous University of his dimension, perhaps finding joy in feeling the authority he had over people, but, mostly, Charles enjoyed sharing knowledge and learning new things himself. Even to this day, now that he has the gem, now that he has outlived every single one of his old friends and relatives, he continues gathering information form all over the multiverse, storing it in his very own library (that is, no doubt, in perfect condition due to some slave labor). Along all of his current associates, Charles knows the most about Desire gems and the way their powers work. This, most definitely, is the reason he has figured out a way to keep the gem fused with his tail and, alongside that, managed to gather a great number of crystal shards, currently being in possession of one of the most complete gems, unlike, say, Darefell, who only has a single little shard.
Speaking of the guy, Darefell, the keeper of the Bondage Desire, is Charles' best friend. They often spend time together, discussing various topics (kinky or not) over some drinks. Darefell even gives Charles lessons on his ropework from time to time and, as any good pal would do in his position, occasionally kidnaps "gifts" for his bud. Charles isn't shy of helping Darefell out himself as well, sometimes presenting him with some cute struggling gifts of his choice. Sometimes, he feels sad for Darefell, seeing the way his gem corrupted the hedgehog... but he understands that his friend is, oddly enough, way happier now than he used to be, even if Charles might know more about him that he does himself at this point.
The tall slaver does not pursue any ultimate goal of his own. He loves to explore the infinite multiverse, learning new things all over existance, but, in the end, he just wants to live a happy life. It just so happens that his "happy life" involves enslavement and kidnappings... even if he's pretty civilized about it.
Charles is here! A really nice guy with some twisted interests. He's trying to be civil about his business, but as you can imagine, that still leaves some questionable moments here and there. In any case, I love the guy and I'm more than happy to finally show him to you! You can probably tell how excited I am by the huge wall of text above. Can't do anything to myself, love writing stuff about my characters... might need a TL;DR section in the future, though ^^; The idea of a classy slaver who isn't going rough about his interests just appeals to me. I find it really interesting and, rest assured, you'll see more of Charles and his affairs in the future~! Also yup, he's a cat. A very-very-very tall and stretchy cat with not the least bit terrifying long tail.
