I meant to re-draw this every four years, but got lazy in 2015.

...Then I thought "Okay well we can double it and draw it 8 years later in 2019!

....So I finally did it now that it's 2020. Fuggit.

There's plenty of anatomy progress, but coloring is def where I improved the most, and I appreciate that~

The 2011 version kinda looks like something out of an older anime IMO. (Can't really name a specific one, it just has that general kind of feeling/style.)

Also, I must say, I find the weapons rather interesting in the first two version, don't think I've seen blades quite that thick before, feels kinda unique.

Either way, impressive work :)

Thanks! Yeah, there was a lot of influences still being very obvious in my older works.

As for the blades, I THINK it was equal parts "Idunno what i'm doing, but this looks cool" and the same wedge-based design akin to an axe, so these blades were more for like.... chopping? Hacking? Some word of exaggerated fusion of a backsword and a saw-back short sword... But yeah in the end decided that was just silly, so made em normal swords with a bit of sawtooth design by the hilt.
