I took a trip to Olive Garden for the first time. Upfront I want to say that this was merely a type of food place that's not up my alley. It is not a rating, I just don't like these kinds of foods. The foods were GOOD, just not to my personal pallet.
We start with Garlic Bread. I like Garlic bread, and the bread itself was REALLY good. it was fluffy and warm. The Garlic mixure was really salty, though. It kind of overshadowed the garlic flavor of the garlic bread, and I had to keep drinking my Tea so I could eat more.
Now, the salad. Their salad. I am very much not used to a place that doesn't give you the option of what kind of dressing is on it, and this was the part that rolled the rest of my experience with the food. I don't like that kind of dressing. It was so bitter and sour and strong, and I knew that the type of food Olive Garden served was also in a similar taste zone being Pastas. It set up the downfall of the food that I was going to eat for my main corse.
Now, the Salad was so bitter sour that it made all the food to come not as apetizing since most noodly foods are generally in the bitter or sour flavor zone with sauces. This kinda of made me a little sad because the food itself was pretty good. Even though the type of foods weren't up my alley much to begin with, I could tell that they were good. Thank you everyone who let me have a taste of everything to see if I liked it. Sadly, the menu was full of Pasta and fish, one I don't like much from resturaunts and the other I can't eat. So, I got some chicken food myself which was alright. Lastly, THANK YOU for the singular bite of steak! It was the best steak I ever ate, and it made me very very happy.
And that was my experience eating Olive Garden for the first time. It's not up my alley.
