Commission for Flafty of OCs Ruby and Felicia
The idea for this image was based mainly on the fact that both Ruby and Felicia display extra body parts, which while unusual, it is not unprecedented and so I looked for examples of similar characters in ancient traditions and found two examples that matched perfectly for them both within Hindu Mythology. You can interpret this as the characters either cosplaying as (with full on body paint) or becoming the avatars of these deities themselves. Ruby becomes Kali, the multi armed Destroyer of Evil and Felicia becomes Agni, the two headed God(dess) of Fire.
I thank Flafty for giving me full free reign to experiment and explore new ideas with his beloved characters.
That would be "Yama" - The thing with Kali as with other many deities in the Hindu pantheon is that they can mutate and assume multiple forms and personalities (sort of transformations into alternate forms and "Superior" forms, Kali is no exception) Probably the misconception that Kali is the "Goddess of Death" comes from a part of Hindu leyend that states:
"When Yama heard Kali's name, he fled in terror, and so those who worship Kali are said to be able to overcome death itself".
Then again, that misconception might have been popularized by the movie: "Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom."
