Seems Scourge wasn't expecting to be stuck in the middle of two guys that actually like him. Eli wants Scourge to stay on Mobieus to be by his side while Ashton doesn't care all too much what Scourge does so long as he comes back every so often to him.
But either way both don't want the other in Scourge's life Eli doesn't want him to interact with those he deems below him, and Ashton just doesn't like Eli or anyone of the ex-royal family.
