Last January, actor/director/writer Terry Jones passed away—he would have been 78 on Feb. 1. He had a long (and distinguished) career in broadcast media, most notably as a member of Monty Python, and this tribute pic celebrates what has emerged as his most notorious role, that of the gluttonous Mr. Creosote from the film, "Monty Python's Meaning Of Life" (directed by Terry Jones—he did much of the heavy lifting). Thank you for the laughs, Mr. Jones, and, if you should come back as a fat, bilious badger, please—it wasn't my intent.
It's a story worth looking into. Terry Jones was an avid historian, and he wrote, produced and hosted some of the most informed, and entertaining, documentaries on the Middle Ages ever broadcast. A man of with a one-of-a-kind mind.
