You know, it's funny. I developed Ridley's design well before Soul Eater was even a thing. The stripes have just always been on his character, then low and behold in comes another son of Death with an affiliation to stripes. I actually had another annotation that even if Ridley wears something without stripes on it, they'll somehow form there anyway but I was worried that unintentional or not, this may be a little too close to Death the Kid so I dropped it.

Actually, the only thing that have made me think about "death the kid" is that he is the son of death...(and the soul eater reference in one of your previous drawing) so i would say you have a very different character ^^
The auto stripes actually seems a good idea, if i remember well the other one only have them on his hair...not on his clothes so that would have been quite different in my opinion XD
Oh and i have forgot, very nice typo too ! A little tiny but beautiful.
