Background/History
A former knight turned wanderer after the Porker Empire conquered the Lovela Kingdom. Before its downfall Bently was the personal champion of Princess Rubiline and high commander of the Sword Guard. He uses a wooden sword carved from the Drowzy Oak which can put anyone it touches to sleep and a shield covered in Sun Stones which can be used to light a dark area or blind an opponent. He is obsessed with "Gentleman's Rules" which he frequently recites. He also has a fondness for the flute and carries one made from a reed in his pocket.
As a boy he was raised by his mother and took on the role of man of the house in the absence of his father. When he reached the age of 16 he enlisted in the royal army where he worked his way up to a position in the castle guard. It was on this day he first 'saved' Princess Rubiline and she made him promise to marry her on her 21st birthday.
