So for those who don't know, there's a thing called Little Scouts. It's basically boy/girl scouts for ageplayers. Lots of fun. I helped start up our local chapter here and, while I've pulled away from my co-leadership position for a number of reasons, I still try to help out when I can because I feel like it was something our community really needed. We have a good population of ageplayers here in Nashville. One of the ways I've been occasionally helping out is with artwork because they know I'm an artist.

One thing that makes our troop a little unique compared to other troops is we have a mascot. We all voted and became the red panda scouts! They're so cute~ So someone had the idea of making name tags for everyone and they wanted a design to put on the other side of them. (So a name and pronouns on one side, a coloring image on the other.) One of the ideas was a paw print, which I loved, so I ran with that one.

Sooooo, fun fact! Red pandas don't ... really ... have paw pads. They're like rodents or humans, they just have freshy bits. Also a weird false thumb to grab things with. So that was fun trying to figure out a paw print of an animal without paw pads, lol.

I ended up coming up with the following design, with mock-up colors based off the little scouts flag. They ended up loving it. And let me tell you, I was about ready to cry seeing the scouts color the image. It makes me, as an artist, ecstatic to see others enjoy my artwork with you.

((As an aside, I drew up one of their mascots ages ago (though apparently never uploaded on here) and really need to update the artwork as well as draw up her brother (I think we decided on?) at some point. So you all may see some cute red panda kids at some point.))
