I just heard an ad for a prayer hotline and got to wondering what would happen if somebody had a prayer for a controversial issue that the volunteer disagreed with. Surely they're trained for such an occurrence. Maybe they're just supposed to bite their lip and act like they're supporting them? Then again, that would be condoning lying. Hmm.

Obama has been the target of a lot of hate and nonsense, just because he is black. Personally I feel that this barrage of abuse comes from a small -but vocal- minority. He DID win the election, but maybe because his opponent was an odious man. I myself am a Democrat, and this year, the Republicans have gone out of their way to be reactionary, fascist and odious. They haven't offered me even ONE candidate that represents MY Democrat views.That was the case some 10 years ago, and is still the case NOW.
