One long rainy spring day Jessie was looking outside the window of her car watching the raindrops hit the glass feeling lonely having just ran away from home. All she had with her was a backpack with some articles of clothing and her laptop. She was tired and came across a small town in the southern part of the United States deciding to rest in a nearby parking garage that was close to a shopping center dotted with several small businesses and resturants.
Jessie just days before came out to her family that she was gay, her family didn’t appreciate it very much calling her terrible names she didn’t dare repeat in public. Jessie was born a boy but always had feminine like qualities. She loved dressing like a girl and for once in her life she felt happy and wanted to share it with her family. Tears in her eyes she packed her back pack and drove off into the night not knowing where she was going to end up.
Jessie woke up in her car, the rain had stopped. She sat up in her seat and immediately started to cry, realizing she was truly alone. After a few moments she composed herself and dried her fur of her tears before climbing out of her small green sedan and walks to one of the small shops in the shopping center. The strong aroma of coffee wafts into her nose as she closes her eyes enjoying the smell. She opens her eyes and sees a green sign of a buck holding a steaming cup of coffee, the steam resembling a dollar sign and the stores name in bright red.
“CoffeeBucks” huh? Hopefully they have wifi. She said to herself walking inside and over to the counter and orders a small glass of black tea and opens her wallet paying for her drink with what little money she had left. She sweetened the drink to her liking and found a table in the back corner of the coffee shop and opens her laptop. Tired of being alone she scours “PawSpace” for any local groups or meet ups she could be a part of.
That was where she met Logan.
