I'm glad that you think like that. You'd be surprised at how much hate such a simple statement of, "I'm not into (insert species or sexual orientation here)" can bring. I once said that I wasn't interested in something (I can't even remember what it was) and the amount of hate I received because of that caused me to apologize for having a preference. I never said what I wasn't interested in was wrong or anything like that but, I couldn't have had more hate heaped on me if I had hit a hornet's nest with a stick.
