if deep drama and story is what your after, always keep this in mind your looking for the ones marked 'seinen' when were talking anime (those are the ones that are writen specificly for late teens and early adults) they tend to include drama and heavy psycological themes...though beyond that they can very wildly, beasttars though...its unique in a great many ways to most other anime/manga i've seen and not just cause of the anthro charicters.
