Halflyn could see it, the shattered sky above the wall.
She was so close.
Yanked backwards by her arm, her shoulder throbbing with sudden pain!
“Where do you think you’re going?” he asks.
A bandit has her, he has her.
“Let go of me!” she shouts.
She tugs away with all her strength, his hand pressing into her, her wrist straining. She was no closer to escape.
“Let go!”
He ignores her.
Halflyn’s dragged kicking and screaming inside a nearby house.
