This makes sense; Shadow fought Infinite before he got amnesia, so it makes perfect sense that Shadow wouldn't remember fighting Infinite or his Jackel squad; when you think about it, Shadow's amnesia has played a big part in amending his life for the better or worse. Encountering infinite, Black Doom's invasion, being recruited by GUN who claimed Maria's casualty, all the different outcomes of these moments were either reshaped or altered by Shadow's memory loss; maybe he needs a special someone to support him and manage his times of need, I mean Sonic's already had like 5 love interests, give the soft middle bad boy a lover!
