This picture came pretty randomly. And this mushroom isn't supposed to be a magical one that makes you fly, just an "ordinary" baked one :D I ate some in a restaurant some time ago, but I loved it so much I just had to "immortalize" it in a way. *Sob.* I miss that mushroom so much! D:

Sounds like the Mulan's in the next town over. This town's is just going through the motions, so limiting myself to the veggie-only dishes is a chore
Their mushrooms are just saucy blandness
Next town over, though, and I could eat their mushrooms exclusively for the rest of my life!

i never thought i would like mushrooms until my fiance brought me this weird noodle dish. The mushrooms were baked and crispy on the outside with some sort of sauce and spice blend, and soft and delightfully springy/chewy on the inside. Unfortunately, the place closed by the time we could afford to indulge again ;-; but it was fantastic, some sort of pan-asian thing I think. TBH the mushrooms were more like meatballs I suppose, but how they got the outside layer so crispy boggles my mind. I would love to find them again ;-; order like, 20 pounds of those mushies and get fat on them.
