A truly thorough piece of venting art.

I must be thorough or else nobody knows what I am talking about!  Of course that also means engagements like the one described here go on for much longer than a sensible person would permit.

I found myself in such dreadful terminal loops when I tried to "reason with" right-wing idiots on political message boards.

I ceased that pursuit for reasons of personal health.

I have definitely not had a pleasant message board experience in a very long time!

'Tis better to quit such self-abuse while you can. You notice your health improving as soon as you stop.

I can relate!

Do you get a lot of terrible offers that you don't immediately reject simply because of how peculiar they are?

Not a lot, but from time to time someone approaches me with ideas for art trades or collaborations usually involving pretty unusual topics. But the part I relate the most is not the one involving art, but the part about a "fan" that makes me feel uncomfortable and I don't know how to deal with him without being rude. Like people who join my Discord and start posting repeated memes or rambling about stuff I don't understand.

oh ah ha I can imagine that issue arising.  People want to impress you but don't really know how.  I remember being 16ish years old on the internet and saying really annoying things and being oblivious to it.  I don't want to treat people the way *I* was treated when I did that, but golly gee some of them just won't stop saying garbage.  Memes have only empowered those with dysfunctional personalities or no social experience to make shows of themselves.
