The police forces would hold their ground and comb the area as the two reached to and were attended by paramedics. For Mark, they had to remove most of his costume, cutting at his pants to render first aid to his leg. Amber was given a blanket to ward off the cold and cover herself, wrapping herself as she headed over to Mark.
"How's my boyfriend?" she asked one of them, feeling so worried upon seeing Mark sporting a bandaged leg.
"We've patched the wound up, but it seems to be a clean entry and exit. We'll send you both to the hospitals where he can get a proper X-Ray, Miss," was their reply.
The panic and uncertainty in her was quickly dispelled as she rested her hand on Mark's arm, glad to know he would be alright.
"Looks like you're going to have to sit out for your game next week...huh~?" Amber says, trying her best to brake the tension and be more light hearted.
"It's worth it, because you're safe." Mark replied, cracking a smile, relieved to see Amber returning to her normal cheery self.
"You know I will. Especially seeing how my knight in shining armor is going to need a little help getting around for a bit," Amber replied, leaning in giving Mark a tender nuzzle.
Mark returned the sentiment, nuzzling her back affectionately.
"And I wouldn't be here at all if it wasn't for you too. I will always love you, baby. We are one. Now and forever."
