Dear Past Me, I’ve read back on your desires for this year and am here to tell you how it went. First off, you outdid yourself on art this year. You made so many full pieces, and not just chibis and backgroundless art. Your expectation of two artworks that are completed was blown out of the water, and you even have a really big project now that will keep up on that. Oh, and Past me, you drew SO MUCH gore art it even got into the recap multiple times. You did so good this year, and I am so proud!
Past me, you told me that it was a scary time during the last recap, but I want to assure you that things definitely got better this year. A lot happened so fast. You changed jobs to be full time artist, and it’s been a hassle but a choice that was very good. Your other job went pretty sour after all. Past me, you also fixed your arm. YOU FIXED IT. We went to physical therapy and now our arm feels like an arm again. It’s amazing. I want to cry every time I think about it. Sadly you hurt your back this year and can’t lift groceries again, but that’s also getting better. I cna’t tell you how much good happened this year.
As for that Minecraft Realm, the Realm is still up but you only made two videos not counting the Intro Animation. It was still really fun. You haven’t played it a lot due to medical reasons.
For Weasyl, you did help site site out a lot. You said you wanted to and you did. However, it kinda got attacked by Spambots near the end of the year and it sucked so much. FOlks have to help rebuild it again. Postybirb has been a helpful tool for people to post on many sites at once, so it should work out eventually.
Dear Future Me, You have a big task in the art field ahead of you. You have declared to work on a very large scale project themed around foxes, and here is what I expect from you. By November I hope to see all 12 Calendar Foxes completed. Remember that you can’t post those ones up until then. Not only that, but I also want to see at least 5 t-shirt and Sticker foxes. Those ones you can post up when you are done since the T-shirt project will help you in Keeping interest. It’s really hard not posting art once it’s done. (This project is thanks to all my Patreon and Ko-fi Supporters! THANK YOU!)
I want you to keep up on your website, Future Me. You might want to decide whether you want to post your art up there, too. RIght now you only post news updates and blogs. It might be a good idea to also post your art in the blog area. You have a way to sort by sfw, gore and nsfw after all. Maybe you should ask about it with your community. (Please comment your thoughts)
I want to give you one more task for this year that I think you have been slacking in. Grow your community. I don’t mean on just one place, but I mean across all of them you seem to have been working on. Twitter, Newgrounds, FurAffinity, DeviantArt, Inkbunny, Weasyl, grow them. I want you to comment to people more this year across your platforms. I want you to reach out to people. Do at least 3 art trades this year to reach out to more people. I know you haven’t been keeping up with reaching out to the art community as much, but I know you’ve also been going really ham with trying to fix things. Let me know how it goes next year, okay?
