It's kinda funny to me that drawing things like that feels like the tiddies are way too big, yet other artists somehow make breasts twice that size somehow work?
It's because the clothes (which are often designed for more modest busts) emphasize how feckin' big they are. They don't look as big when nude or with less-detailed clothing

You draw in a more reserved, anatomically correct style, so things that are out of place are more out of place. The more distorted/looser the style, the less giant tiddies seem out of place.

I haven't noticed a particular correlation between hyper and otherwise being "realistic" myself. A lot of hyper artists draw at about this level of real v. cartoon, actually.
