It was a hard time until Gus adapts with his new short body and it's consequences. He was no more Captain Gus, but just, Gustavo Yumako, a 4 year old boy. But he refused to accept his fate, and decided to get back his captain seat, even if he needs to give everything for that.
All regressed kids are subjected to an exam to evaluate his mind status, since the regression also means a smaller brain, they need to check how much of past knowledge are still there and how much was sent to the subconscious, where they'll need to exercise or re-learn stuff.
The results of this exam will indicate wich school and the regressed kids will be placed. Gus had a good result, as he could be sent to the Oficial Space Paw Patrol academy, and straight to the 5th grade.
But it wasn't something possible. The kids from this grade are almost 3 times older than Gus. The officers then managed to fit him in the 2nd grade.
THe boy had the chance to wait for next year, but he wanted to start right now, in order to pass through it quickly.
Well, here he is, diapered, "learning" some basic math. He was really doing well as expected, but one of the kids shouted.
"Teacher! the new kid needs a diaper change!"
Most of the class laughed and giggled at the comment, but the skunk just blushed a lot.
"Wha? i... uh.. i don't. stop it!
The teacher went to Gus and calmly said to make sure he was alright.
"Sorry, Gussy, do you need a diaper change?"
Gus wanted to tell he was dry, but it's been less than a week since his regression, and he still hadn't regained his control again. Even if he could had lied, he blushed way more.
"i.. i don't know..."

Maybe he could just waited some time before get into the class... maybe he could had waited his control, or at least go there in some pullups to no one notice.
He'll be lucky if reach through the end of the scholar year without being called the "baby" of the class.
