I decided to try doing Inktober for once but I decided to only do the ones I wanted, and also decided to focus just on prompts that I could think of a way to involve hypnosis! XD So I was late finishing it all, so I decided I would combine it with Hypnovember and finish it this month. Still barely got them done in time.
God I could not get a good scan or photo of this one. I'm having such a bad time trying to get all these set up. I don't have a good scanner so it usually just destroys the contrast. I also had been drawing in a big square sketchbook, which didn't fit in the scanner XD I ended up having to crop a bit off of the image. And also improve the colours. Anyway, this one involves Spiralhoof gettign first hand experience with some kind of old magic. Originally her magic was pink and she wasn't supposed to have like, mesmerizing powers or anything to any extreme degree. But then she did end up having that with like eerie green magic while she was using this magic So maybe this is why? I did used to have a comic series I wanted to do which would involve a set of 4 different antagonist creatures that each had a different hypnosis power. and then Spiralhoof was going to be the secret final boss XD so here, backstory.
There was going to be a different one for "Pattern" originally but I decided to do a whole different picture. I eventually decided the original picture would be a good candidate for the final piece.
