I just decided to look into an old box of drawings and pulled out this folded piece of paper where I'd quickly drawn a content looking Whippy sitting there. Probably drew it last year sometime I think. The drawings in the box range from 2011-2018..so there's lot of variety there! Getting this image scanned was a whole other matter ^///^ I have this HP deskjet 2514, it's a big clunky hand-me-down printer with a builtin scanner. After installing the driver, I go into Photoshop > File > Import > WIA support... Click things to get to start, and...it starts to scan then quits halfway with "Scanner no longer available" ...eh? I try restarting and try other programs, and nothing works. I try using my USB3 hub..nope. Two hours go by just trying to solve this! Then I find a post with a solution. The printer can't use USB3, it only works with USB2.....uggggg lol!
So I decided to keep this image looking as analog as possible with the wrinkley paper and part of the scanner lid surface left in. Used lots of old tech for this :P Ugg..I should go to bed
