When the stars themselves are clouded and swallowed by forces beyond reckoning, there is little that can be done but to escape from the impending doom. As the nebula destroyed the planet, the few survivors watched in horror as their home was rent asunder, piece by piece...

Yeah, kinda grim innit? Definitely a Warhammer40K vibe to this painting, though obviously this isn't any 40K ship I'm aware of (right color scheme, nowhere near enough cathedral bits everywhere). Did this as a change of pace, since I've gotten burnt out a little on my usual brand of cardiac nonsense (I know, I'm amazed by that too). What I found interesting is that when I shared this around, I actually got MORE response on this piece than I have on my more erotic works, even the more broadly "tame" ones XD Go figure eh?
