Steel and Stone

By: Lapsa

For: DiggerGallin

“Thank you again Ms. Reid for volunteering!”

“Of course, when I saw the ad I couldn’t resist.” Kristen chuckled as she walked with the assistant, eyes darting around the clean white interior. “Though it was a bit vague, I was hoping I’d be able to learn a bit more about this ‘Archeological Exploration and Acquisition Enhancement Procedure’ beforehand.”

“Oh, don’t worry Ms. Reid, you’ll learn all you need to in a bit,” The assistant came to a stop behind a closed door, a swipe of a card following as it cracked down. “I’ll have to leave you here, but I’ll be up in the observation chamber watching! Just head on in and wait for further instructions.”

The vixen would soon find herself in a large empty room, the door closing behind her as she walked inside, eyes scanning around for any sign of another person. Only silence would meet, minutes of waiting passing before a voice finally echoed out across the room.

“Hello Ms. Reid. Welcome to our testing room, and thank you again for volunteering! If you could, please stand in the small chamber at the far end of the room.” Kristen’s eyes moved over to a darkened window near the top end of the room.

“I was hoping you’d be able to tell me a bit more about this procedure before we start.” The vixen spoke as she moved into the chamber, eyes still locked onto the darkened window as she strained to try to see onto the other side.

“We’d rather show you, Ms. Reid. Results are the best way of explaining.” The voice came across the speakers once more. “Now, please stand very still.”

“Robotization Commencing” a soft voice came from the machine as the vixen’s ears perked up suddenly.

“Wait, wh—” Her voice was cut off as the chamber doors closed, limbs moving in from openings to quickly restrain her as she felt her heart begin to beat faster in her chest. She’d instinctively struggle against the restrains, letting out a low growl before feeling a few needles push into her neck and back – a cool sensation pouring out through her body from their points of injection.

Everything after that would be a blur for her as more limbs came in, dull eyes looking towards them as they went to work on her now numb body – only the faintest sensation of pain passing into her mind as they started to alter her. She’d watch on barely aware as flesh and skin were replaced by circuits and steel – robotic limbs soon replacing her own as a furless form took shape.

Even her mind wouldn’t be spared from the creeping changes as the limbs slowly worked from the bottom up, eventually reaching her head as a loud buzzing rang in her ears. She’d only see a bright flash of light from a scanner moving across her vision before the world briefly went white – returning different as a visor now blocked her vision, code and words flashing across as software came online.

By the time the door finally opened there was nothing organic left of the vixen, her eyes lighting up as faint circuits and wires rested behind them. She’d emerge completely nude, sleek new body fully on display as her confused gaze moved down across her changed form – an odd calmness now taking hold on her thoughts.

“W-what…am I?” An arm would raise up as she looked over it, examining each small detail.

“You’ve just undergone the procedure, Ms. Reid. How do you feel?”

“I…don’t…” She clenched her hand before releasing it again, her even more acute hearing picking up the soft whirrs that sounded with each small movement she made.

“Excellent.” The voice crackled across, even more elated than before. “We can move onto the next phase of testing. If you’d direct your attention just ahead of you.”

The vixen looked up in time to see the floor open as a small pillar pushed through the gap, a rather out of place looking statuette on its top – the old weathered stone providing a stark contrast to the clean modern lab. Even without a visor across her eyes lighting up she’d be able to instantly tell what it was – some ancient piece of history plucked from a museum or a long-lost temple.

“Can you pick up the statue, Ms. Reid?”

The vixen nodded, walking forward with a bit of caution to her step – still unsure of her new metallic body as each sensation was felt anew. She’d find her eyes still moving down across it, looking over the furless form that seemed so familiar yet so alien. Her distracted thoughts wouldn’t last long though as a flashing light on the visor drew her vision up – hands reaching out towards the pillar.

“Woah~!” Kristen felt a sudden, brief but powerful, sensation jolt through her mind as her hands touched the worn stone, a pleasurable spark across her thoughts nearly knocking her off her feet. “W-what was that?”

“Don’t be alarmed, that is exactly what was supposed to happen. You may let go of the artifact now.”

“W-what did you do to me?” Kristen let out a gasp as she moved back from the pillar, watching it retract into the ground as her ears listened for a response.

“Our research group came to the conclusion that the best way to boost the productivity and efficiency of any field of work was to use… positive reinforcement.” The voice crackled across the speaker again, the lingering buzz still present in the robo-vixen’s mind as she listened.

“As well as heavy augmentation to remove less desirable traits; no more hunger or thirst or boredom, only our pleasure reinforcement and a mostly intact persona!” A brief pause would follow as the vixen mulled over the words, unable to feel anger or dissatisfaction, only the faintest memory of an emotion passing over her mind.

“Well, if you have no further questions we’d like to move on to some field tests before putting you to work.”

“Work?” The vixen’s head cocked. “I already have an employer.”

“Yes, Ms. Reid. However, you technically belong to our company now – we have a contract with many different entities, including with a few museums and private collectors.” Her eyes shot up towards the darkened window, a harsh gaze towards the scientists she knew were watching. “We are even able to easily switch your programming out for other…professions, for those who want a little something more. Sex toys are a popular and easily programmable secondary use to many of our models!”

“Absolutely n—” A loud buzz rang in her ears as she felt her mouth shut, some force keeping her from speaking.

“Excellent! Stand by please while we send someone down to get you.”

The vixen would find herself unable to move as the doors opened, technicians coming in to retrieve her for the next phase of her testing, each bit of her hardware and software put to the test. All the while she’d find their control grow even more, overrides in her mind having her more than eagerly follow along with each command and instruction, will bending more easily than the steel shell she was now trapped within.

***

“O-oh~! F-fuck!” Kristen’s robotic cries echoed through the darkened rooms as she picked up another ancient relic, the jolt of pleasure that followed finally sending her over the edge into orgasm – giving her an even greater reward for her diligent efforts. Despite the removal of most of her emotions each orgasm seemed enhanced, better than any she’d felt before as each bit of her metallic body vibrated and twitched from the sensation – vision blurring with static as synthetic juices pooled beneath her on the floor.

Each orgasm would warm her even more to her new ‘job’, months passing as little by little the vixen began to even more happily identify herself as a product of the company that had changed her. Each jolt of pleasure would work exactly as intended as it fed into her programming, melting what was left of her mind a little more as her previous life faded away into a faint soup of memories. Work and pleasure would slowly become her only thoughts, her programming dictating more and more until she was nothing but a mindless drone.
