Character Description
Mbali is a 27-year-old spotted-hyena woman who combines calm, affectionate confidence with a genuinely modern, slightly punk edge. Warm, stylish and socially at ease, she works at a travel agency and has built a comfortable, independent life in her adopted country after moving there in her early twenties. She speaks its language fluently, with a distinct warm regional accent from her home country. She loves people, meaningful friendships, recurring affectionate bonds, festivals, dancing, and small luxuries such as saunas, candles and long baths. Her first instinct is often to care for the people around her, but she is not meek. She has teeth, speaks up when someone is cruel or disrespectful, and instinctively steps between danger and her people.
