Something I needed to get off my mind.
In the IDW verse Mina was a fighter for awhile when Somic went missing, Mina started helping getting survivors to safety shelters, while at one of the shelters some of the children were crying scared because they had gotten separated from their parents in all the chaos. So to help them feel calm and safe Mina sang to them many others around them heard her song and sat to listen to such a beautiful voice. Her voice helped many stay calm. So Mina decided that she was going to travel the world and help encourage many of the fighters and survivors to keep hope in that the resistance would bring back peace from Eggman and Infinite.
Mina had met up with an old flame of hero's Ash to see if he could help, he was happy to help, and they both agreed it would be better to bring along others who could sing and fight to help those in need and to bring the hope that is needed in that moment.
Even after everything with Infinite Mina and her crew kept going around singing and helping with restoration of homes and life.
