A drawing that I was made almost 3 years ago and so far I could publish it here, the theme is of the day of the dead (somewhat late), in addition to a very popular Mexican legend that is told a lot at this time. It's The Legend of the Black Charro, tells of a man who in life, tired of his poverty, made a pact with the devil, in exchange for much money he would give his soul. This caused him to suffer countless torments in the same hell, and every certain time he returns to the world of the living riding a horse and wearing a very elegant charro suit which some parts seemed to be made with golden threads, he comes to look for people more greedy than he was, to pass the curse of the Charro Negro to another person offering them money in exchange for his soul and thus be able to rest in peace. It's said that the curse has fallen to numerous men and each one was more greedy than the last. Interesting, don't you think?
Español Un dibujo que me hicieron ya hace casi cerca de 3 años y hasta ahora lo pude publicar aquí, la temática es del día de muertos (algo atrasada), ademas de una leyenda mexicana muy popular que se cuenta mucho en esta época. Es La Leyenda del Charro Negro, cuenta de un hombre que en vida, cansado de su pobreza, hizo un pacto con el diablo, a cambio de mucho dinero le daría su alma. Esto le hizo hizo sufrir incontable tormentos en el mismo infierno, y cada determinado tiempo regresa al mundo de los vivos cabalgando un caballo y portando un muy elegante traje de charro el cual algunas partes parecían estar hechas con hilos de oro, el viene a buscar a personas mas avariciosas de lo que él fue, para pasar la maldición del Charro Negro a otra persona ofreciéndoles dinero a cambio de su alma y así poder descansar en paz. Se dice que la maldición ha recaído a numerables varones y cada uno era mas avaricioso que el anterior. Interesante, no creen?
