Bo has a slew of medical issues and conditions that she has to treat with an extensive cocktail of pharmaceuticals, some of which give her side effects including agonizing migraines which result in having to take more drugs to combat the pain.
Kudos to you if you recognize what manga this scene is inspired from, it’s one of my favorites of all time... I plan on making a drawing series inspired from panels from it with my Casa Crepúsculo girls. :oc
