Every cub on the Intrepid hopes for an opportunity to get down onto a strange new world and run around in the breeze as well as bask in the heat of it's sun (or suns). Zee-Zee and Lig are no exception. Despite some differences in philosophy, the two compliment each other on projects such as these quite well. Lucky for them, they've been assigned to survey Planet: A577-Carrot Stick. A seemingly unsettled world not too far from the Nelari home system.
Zee-Zee appears in his sky blue themed Nelari Explorer Uniform, indicating that he is part of the sciences division. He has his little hand terminal in his hand and is directing Lig to some of the more interesting data points that the ship has sent him from orbit.
Lig is resplendent in his orange themed uniform, indicating that he is part of the Ops Division (arguably one of the more flexible divisions aboard the ship). Lig has a blue backpack filled with supplies that the landing party will need, including fresh diapers (hopefully Lig remembered to pack some spare pull-ups for Zee-Zee).
The Liger Nelari is only too happy to test out the new, flying PACI drones. Guided with some AI assistance but controlled by Lig for the most part, the drone lets landing parties scout an interesting area that could be dangerous or inaccessible to pawbound Nelari. The friendly AI is also able to advise the cubs on how to proceed and what to do. It's also pretty fun flying around one of these to boot! Lig better make sure to give Zee-Zee a turn before it's time to get back to the ship!
Initial scans suggest that there aren't any potties down on the planet, and we want to limit the contamination of the ecosystem until we're sure it's safe! Zee-Zee said he could totally hold it till after the mission though.. so everything should be fine. But just in case...
