I always thought and felt, Sarabi was a great mother and character - and - for me - even more in the new version of TLK. As you can read in Michael Goldman's 'The Art and Making of Disneys The Lion King', Sarabi is "a powerful queen" and athletic with "a more solid body type" (p. 88) *_*
