Octavia is your simple average Giraffe who own a bakery/coffee shop in the far side of Xuden City. She usually work at the store by herself, and barely have any help from anyone. Most people think she is crazy to work at the store alone, since Xuden City have a reputation with high level crime in certain part of town. Most people don't know, that Octavia is actually the daughter of Chief Detective Ness Redfield, and her shop is very well protected by the amount of police activity that pass by there. Octavia doesn't talk that much about her mother, and both of them have personal conflict that can be complicated if anyone dare ask them about it. Octavia however does call her mother once a while to see how she doing, and Ness stop by the shop just to get a free cup of coffee. Octavia get alot of question about her being born a different species, but told folks that she look more from her father side. Octavia had dealt with a few other members from her mother side of the family, including meeting her uncle Thomas Matsudahiri, and his aadopted daughter Dashie the Orcadragon. She know about her uncle dealing with strange things like demon, and monster, which she usually get them poping by her shop occasionally. Octavia does her best to keep the strange thing out of site, so normal folks doesn't get scared. Course it get very difficult whenever her friend Valo Drawer stop by for coffee, or pastries. Octavia sometimes happy that Valo stop by her shop, he was the only person that she feel normal around her. She even have a secret crush on him that she never want him to know
