Artwork Text Description: Digital toned paper illustration of an anthro-furry wolf-snake hybrid named Nilun. He has the upper body, head, and torso of a wolf, but lower body, hands, and tail of a snake with scales. He is wearing a loincloth and numerous accessories as well as a tiger-skin head and fur. Drawing was commissioned for Inu91 and features their fursona.

I quite enjoyed drawing Nilun here ^^ I love the tribal “shaman” look of their character and the outfit! Don’t think I have ever drawn anything snake related, or scales at all really, but I’m super happy with how the scaled parts turned out! I anticipated it being tedious, but it wasn’t really that bad haha. I just came up with a method for quickly abstracting the lighting effects of scales; after that it wasn’t a problem!
