Many moons ago, Twas baking these chocolate chip cookies for this person, for this person was blue, and Red thought that some hugs, love and some cookies may help her feel better. When there was around...10 minutes? Left on the timer, I took my pooch out, then came back a few minutes later (there would have been plenty of time, before I would of had to take them out of the oven)
However,
When I returned, not only, had someone taken the timer, but they had turned the oven up VERY high, by the time I noticed this, wrenching open the door and snatching out teh kewkies...Well, they had all been burned black. Smoke and the scent of burned cookies was everywhere D: (thank goodness our smoke alarms weren't active at the time) I felt SO AWFUL that I had lost the whole bunch of cookies... In the end, there was just enough time to remake a new batch, and she got her cookies, which, oddly DID seem to make her feel a little better. @-@ I still can't believe someone sabotaged my cookies...
