After such a long time, I tried to make a few traditional art again. (Partly thanks for a new printer/scanner.) And I thought a dragon should be a good re-start :) So this is my first semi-traditional picture I made this way. I got really unused to traditional drawing, so I was really nervous... But it was also a blast to draw again like this, just like in the good old days :D I decided that I'll only color on PC for now, because I want to know how I can shade these pictures.

When it comes down to it I usually feel more comfortable with traditional because the whole canvas is right in front of you. No scrolling or zooming like you would a computer (uness your eyes are really bad?XD). I really need to get myself a new printer scanner already. Lost in storage and the software had become incompatible with newer versions of Windows.

Wow! That's an interesting, and obviously friendly, tree dragon. (I'd never heard of a tree dragon until I saw this drawing and decided that's what it is.)

I always yell a big hello to the trees when I first arrive in the mountains, and I wave goodbye and bid adieu to the spirit of the mountains (a big old grumpy bear in my case) when I live.
The world beyond us IS alive. And it is aware.

Awesome restart back into traditional. You got this. I love the dragon and the scale of them. Is beautiful. I'd love to be this guy's friend, or even mere acquaintance. Keep up the great work!
