Dirge operates as a monster hunter out of the country known as Kaleria. Kaleria is a vast desert region built around a central Authority in the capital. The empire is still plagued with monsters and has the worst case of banditry among its fellow nations. Dirge wears partial armor and cloth to keep himself mostly cool while providing a moderate amount of protection to his chest. Dirge will often discard the armor when fighting monsters though, they don't wear armor so why should he.
